Slivio Berlusconi is hospitalized
Italy's Prime Minister Slivio Berlusconi was hit in the face with a souvenir after a rally in Milan where the politician was greeting supporters on December 13, 2009. Berlusconi, 73, sustained a minor fracture to his nose, suffered cuts to his lip and two of his teeth were broken.
The attacker was named as Massimo Tartaglia. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. According to reports the 42-year-old suspect has a history of mental illness. The souvenir he threw at Berlusconi was reportedly a replica of the cathedral in Milan.
