Armenian boxers win
Armenian boxer Derenik Gijlaryan (51 kg) reached the semifinals of the AIBA World Boxing Championship in Milan after beating Azat Usenaliev (Kyrgyzstan) by the score of 11:9.
In the next round Gijlaryan is to compete with Russian boxer Misha Aloyan beating Burundian Yaya Runanga 25:2 in the previous round.
Ukrainian boxer Artyom Dallakyan missed the fight and was not involved in the next round.
Armenian boxer, Eduard Hambardzumyan (64 kg), also reached the semifinals after winning over Araya Fraser of Costa Rica. Hambardzumyan's next rival will be 20-year-old Onar Sipal of Turkey.
Armenian boxers Garnik Harutiunyan (54kg), Hrachik Javakhyan (60 kg) and Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg) will compete today.
