It’s an extract from the Open Letter Armenian citizens, the representatives of intelligentsia and social organizations have addressed to the employees of justice system.
”It is no longer possible to indifferently watch the activity of the justice system destroying the fates of our compatriots. While we propagandize for spiritual values from high rostrums, people beside, known or not, are blackmailed, arrested, tortured and sentenced upon false accusations and testimonies”.
When respect and trust among the society vanishes towards Court, it leads to that not only a citizen but also a judge becomes unprotected. The attitude of young people with shaved heads who had committed violence to journalists was the evident precedent in Court.
Don’t be silent! Your position is crucial! Express your stance! Use all the possible instruments to stop that criminal process”, the letter says.
