WHO IS THE MASTER OF THE LIBERATED TERRITORIES THAT HAVE BECOME OBJECT OF COMMERCE
Support A1+!"The present-day district of Kashatagh includes 5 occupied or liberated territories which Armenian president Robert Kocharyan makes object of commerce", - Garegin Ghazaryan, the official of Kashatagh Management, says. According to Alexan Hakobyan, the Head of the Management, about 12.000 people reside in the district and they are not very anxious for the talk, reached their ears, on Armenian-Azerbaijan negotiations.
Zangelan's Mayor Khachatur Adamyan thinks the negotiations on the exchange of territories to be challenge to the inhabitants. "No power has any monopoly on possessing territories". As Mr. Adamyan thinks, only the nation has the right to make any decision on surrender of the territories which have become as home for them.
Armen Eghyan, the participator in liberation of the territories, has his own projects on Shukyurbeyli, the South-Eastern settlement. "We think mastering, i.e., settling of those territories is a matter of grave importance". "The Armenian-Iranian frontier is to be made longer as much as possible and surrender of those territories is out of the question",- Mr. Eghyan says.
