Armenia soldier dies from Azerbaijan shooting
A contracted military serviceman of Armenia on Wednesday died in the area of responsibility of a military unit located in the northeastern direction of the country, and as a result of shooting by Azerbaijan. According to preliminary information, contracted conscript, Private Haykaz Matevosyan (born in 1980) received a gunshot wound in his neck at around 1:30pm, and from the shots fired by the adversary, the Ministry of Defense press service informed. The soldier died en route to a military hospital. Matevosyan was serving in the army since 2011.
