Gorik Hakobyan, Former National Security Service chief dies
Gorik Hakobyan, Former Chief of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, died at the age of 71, after prolonged illness. Work activity: 1997-1999 - RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and National Security 1999-2003 - RA Deputy Minister of National Security 2003-2004 - Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan was the Chief of the National Security Service in 2004-2016. Since February 12, 2016, he had been the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
