Armenia’s Culture Minister: I pay about 160 million in tax every year
In March 2017, Hetq.am published information about the properties and businesses of Armenia’s Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan, who is the 5th on the list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). The source said Amiryan owns fourteen properties – five private homes, seven parcels of land, and two buildings. Two of the homes are located in Glendale, the United States. One of the buildings, at 145 S. Verdugo Rd., Glendale, houses a bakery called Torik, selling various breads and lahmajun. Aravot.am has contacted Armen Amiryan to verify the information. “Only in Armenia, my companies have a turnover of about one billion drams, and I pay about 160 million in tax every year," he said.
