Tense night on the border
The situation remains tense on the front line. According to NKR DA operative data, on March 25-26 overnight, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 140 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 1700 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60, 82, 120 mm mortars and Han-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers. Due to the operative actions of the Defense Army vanguards the activity of the adversary was suspended and its weapon emplacements were suppressed. The Defense Army continues keeping the operative-strategic situation along the line of contact under control and confidently carries out its military duty. Press Service of the NKR MoD
