Hovhannes Gabuzyan awarded 5000 US dollars
Armenian young Grandmaster Hovhannes Gabuzyan became the winner at the International Chess Tournament held on Hawaii Island. Our chess player scored 5.5 points from possible 6 and took the first prize. He was awarded 5000 US dollars. Another chess player, Grandmaster Robert Aghasaryan shared 2-4 prizes with 4.5 points, but with the additional ratios he was recognized the fourth and lost the medal and the bonus (1250 US dollars).
