Tumanyan tales in Artsakh villages

Ahead of Hovhannes Tumanyan's 145th anniversary “Artsakh European movement” NGO with the financing of European Union in Artsakh regions (mainly in villages) implements “Peace tales” project, which represents Tumanyan tales’ performances. At the end of March and at the beginning of April 2014 Askeran region Aygestan, Noragyugh, Astghashen and Shushi region Karintak and Shushi communities’ pupils were present at the above mentioned tales’ performances with the interpretation of Yerevan “Mihr” theatre. “Artsakh European movement” NGO was created on April 2010 in Stepanakert by a group of young specialists. The main objective of the organization is the recognition of Artsakh to international non- governmental sector. The organization considers that national values are the base of universal values and stresses the importance of national values in its activities. The project is implemented within the frames of Karabagh conflict peace settlement European cooperation. Besides the peace component, Tumanyan’s tales’ performance in Artsakh villages aims at the activation of cultural life in villages.
