An evening dedicated to composer Alexey Shor was held in the framework of Contemporary Classics Festival. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, led by Sergey Smbatyan, presented excerpts from Shor's "Crystal Palace" ballet.

Before the concert, A1+ had an inteview with to Alexey Shor.

According to the composer, the Contemporary Classics festival is unique in its format and he is always happy to collaborate with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

“I have visitied Armenia many times. I really like the Armenian audience. The first meeting was very warm. It was summer, and the auditorium was awfully hot, but the audience 'survived.'"

Among the professions of mathematician and musician, Alexey Shor preferred music.

"My idol is Bach. Then I also love Viennese classical music. Yes, in the 21st century classic music can also be written. Avant-garde is not mine," says the composer.
