Azerbaijani hackers were relatively passive
Strangely though it may seem, Azerbaijani hackers did not attack Armenian websites on April 24 and May 9, says Samvel Martirosyan, an information security expert. When explaining the passivity of Azerbaijani hackers, the expert stressed that the Armenian websites covering the Genocide topic, are well protected.
"On the other hand, they are likely to have exhausted all possibilities," he stressed.
"However, about ten Armenian websites were hacked on May 8. These sites mainly covered social news," he said.
The expert also added the Armenian cyber bank broke several Azerbaijani websites on April 24 and on May 9.
