Hmayak Hovhannisyan won’t be in parliament

Ninety-five deputy candidates submitted candidacy withdrawal applications to the Central Electoral Commission today. Out of the 95 candidates, 28 were from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and 67 were from the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK).

Press speaker of the CEC Hermine Harutyunyan told "A1+" that among the BHK members that submitted withdrawal applications were Khachik Galstyan, Harutyun Kushkyan, Aram Safaryan, Artur Tamrazyan, Hmayak Hovhannisyan, Vardan Vardanyan, Hrant Madatyan, and among the HHK members were Serzh Sargsyan, Tigran Sargsyan and Taron Margaryan.

We remind that the HHK will have 69 seats in the new National Assembly (40 under the proportional ticket and 29 under the majoritarian ticket).

Prosperous Armenia Party will have 37 seats (28 under the proportional ticket and 9 under the majoritarian ticket), the Armenian National Congress (HAK) will have 7 seats, while the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) and "Country of Law" Party (OEK) will each have 6 seats (5 under the proportional ticket and 1 under the majoritarian ticket). "Heritage" Party will have five seats in parliament.
