Russia is ready to asist
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a Russian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Ivanov.
At the beginning of the meeting Sergey Ivanov extended condolences on the recent explosion at Nairit Plant and expressed willingness to render necessary assistance.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed issues related to the spheres of transport and energy, as well as questions connected with the activity of the enterprises transferred to Russia
against state debt.
The parties discussed issues related to the Caucasus-Poti-Caucasus rail and ferry route and the Novorossiysk-Poti-Novorossiysk car-ferry route.
The interlocutors also talked about Armenia's participation in the construction works within the framework of the preparation for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
The interlocutors underlined the role of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission, noting that it provides an opportunity to reveal the potential of cooperation and embrace new spheres.
