Drugs not transferred
Prisoner at the "Prisoners' hospital" penitentiary Samvel A. asked prisoner of the same penitentiary Norik A. to transfer wrapped drugs to a residential area from the penitentiary's security zone, as informed by the Penitentiary Department of the RA Justice Ministry.
The wrapped drugs were thrown towards the security zone from the yard of the apartment buildings located near the penitentiary. Norik A. hid the drugs and tried to transfer them to the residential area. But as he was passing the control point, he underwent an examination as a result of which the drugs were found and confiscated.
After a forensic chemical examination it became clear that the pack of drugs was "Apion" drugs, which contain the "Buprenorph" type of active ingredient. Investigation is still underway.
The RA Justice Ministry's penitentiary department reminds that it always takes all measures aimed at revealing and preventing any illegal action at the penitentiary.
