APPEAL COURT MAKES DECISION FAVOURABLE TO COMPLAINANTS, DEFENDANTS AND AUTHORITIES
Support A1+!Court of Appeal satisfied the complaint submitted by Erevan, TV5, CNN, ArmenAkob and Dar 21 TV companies about Economic Court’s decision that declined the five companies’ suit against Radio and Television National Commission.
The companies demanded to give them an opportunity to make changes in their tender packages submitted yet on October 15, 2002 for broadcasting frequencies tender.
Two weeks earlier the Appeal Court proposed to the Commission to reach a consensus on the issue. The Commission attorney Suren Petrossyan said today that no consensus has been reached.
After receiving positive decision, the plaintiffs will return their suit to Economic Court for reconsideration.
And what about A1+ and Noyan Tapan TV companies, they are left with no option but to remain pending for tender. But there is no sign of imminent tender yet.
