Changeable weather by mid-April
Tomorrow regular cyclone will penetrate into the republic and there will be precipitations in the whole territory of the country. The changeable weather will last for more 5 days. Today MTAES “Hydromet” Service Hydrometeorological Center Deputy Director Gagik Surenyan has presented the forecasts, “The precipitations will continue by March 24: the republic will be under the cyclone’s influence. On March 25 there will be precipitations only in Lori, Tavush, Syunik and on March 26 there will be no precipitations in the republic.” Tomorrow cold Arctic air currents will penetrate into the republic, but there is no danger of frostbite in the upcoming five days. Tomorrow at night air temperature in the Ararat Valley will be one degree above zero and in the afternoon 10-12 degrees above zero. On March 26 connected with the penetration of warm Southwestern air currents, the air temperature in the whole republic will increase by 5-7 degrees. In April there will be more precipitations than usual. During the first half of the month the temperature will be changeable, warm currents will penetrate during the second half. “Hydromet” Service Hydrometeorological Center Director Zaruhi Petrosyan informed that the winter of 2015 was the warmest, “Until March there was lack of precipitations, but currently precipitations are in excess of limits, which means that there won’t be the problem of irrigation water.”
