Support A1+!On March 9, the kurdish community of Armenia held an action of complaint in protection of Abdullah Odjalan, leader of the Kurdish nation. They claim that the Turkish authorities are gradually poisoning Abdullah Odjalan. A French doctor has recently examined Odjalan's hair and the results testify to this belief.
The rally participants headed to the Armenian office of the UNO. They were carrying colorful posters and shoutng, «Turkey is a terrorist», «We don't want to live without the leader of the Kurdish nation Abdullah Odjalan», «We call on you to release the leader of the Kurds Abdullah Odjalan», etc.
The kurds made announcements opposite the UNO office and presented their claims but they found no answer. The Kurds urge all the international structures of Armenia to set a commission to observe Abdullah Odjalan's poisoning and to sue the Turkish authorities.
The Kurdish community intends to continue the demonstrations further on unless they achieve tangible results. They will place a black wreath near the OSCE Yerevan office, to show their attitude towards the OSCE.
«The OSCE is Turkey's accomplice and backs up Turkey explicitly instead of punishing Turkey for its great appetite and political stance», says Mr. Mstoyan, chairman of the «Kurdistan» Committee.
