Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan today talked to journalists about his latest visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. “I met with the NKR President and visited the frontline. I can say that I observed clear confidence in our future victories in everyone, including soldiers, officers, generals, politicians and MPs. We were encouraged to see them in such high spirits. We also discussed economic matters and reached an agreement on all issues,” Mr Abrahamyan said. Answering a question about Armenia’s possible recognition of the Artsakh independence, the Armenian PM said, “Serzh Sargsyan clearly expressed his position. If Azerbaijan continues its aggression and harassment we shall have to recognize Artsakh. At this stage, there is no need to do it.” Mr Abrahamyan added that the agreement on mutual assistance in military sector between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh is in the process of drafting.
