Dead fish found in river
On May 16, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that dead fish had been found in the Shahvard river that flows through Voskevaz village in Aragatsotn region. A task force was sent to the site shortly afterwards to find that fish in the river had been dying in large numbers (about 20 kg). Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the local Governor’s Office and Epidemiological Service have taken samples of water for analysis.
