Armenian sambo wrestlers leave for Spain
Armenia’s sambo team has left for Spain to participate in the European Sambo Championship among Youth and Juniors to be held in Caceres on April 11-14, reports the Sambo Federation of Armenia. The best athletes in age groups 1994-1995 and 1996-1997 will participate in the championship. President of the Sambo Federation of Armenia, Levon Hayrapetyan, hopes that the team will bring medals from Spain. He especially has great hopes from Grigor Mkhitaryan, Gor Mayilyan, Roza Khachatryan, Hovhannes Alexanyan, Seyran Sahakyan and Albert Sargsyan, who earlier became winners in world and European championships.
