Levon Zurabyan: Serzh Sargsyan is in zugzwang
A senior member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) does not agree with the opinion that by forcing Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to submit his resignation, Serzh Sargsyan ‘checkmated’ the opposition. “Speaking the language of chess I can say that I can say that Serzh Sargsyan has appeared in zugzwang [a situation found in chess and other games, where one player is put at a disadvantage because he must make a move when he would prefer to pass and not move], and the country is in time trouble [a situation where a player has little time to complete the required moves],” said Levon Zurabyan.
