Law on Funded Pension still in effect - Central Depository of Armenia
The Central Depository of Armenia has issued a statement saying that the Law on Funded Pension is still in effect. “Dear citizens, Given the numerous letters and appeals the Central Depository of Armenia has received in recent days in connection with the depository function of keeping the registry of Mandatory Funded Pension System participants, we inform you that by a decision of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, the Law on Funded Pension will be in force until September 30, 2014. Hence the Central Depository of Armenia shall continue to perform its statutory duties,” said the Central Depository. Let us note that in their letters citizens say that pension funds and managers have already been chosen for them.
