Danielyan-Stepan

Armenians haven’t learnt from the history of 1915, for fighting against Turkey, Armenian volunteers want to send a military unit into Kessab to protect local Armenians. “The same happened during the First World war, when units were formed in Tbilisi and sent to Turkey and had activities there, as a result Turks started taking revenge from local Armenians, who had no connection with that,”- says politician Stepan Danielyan. He notes that Syrian war is the problem of big countries and they can use little states, Armenia has nothing to do with that war, “Armenian Foreign Ministry must make an announcement that there are no Armenian soldiers in Syria.” Stepan Danielyan warns that even if Armenia wants to send soldiers to Kessab only for moral support, they must remember that one day that treat must turn against Armenia: “They must realize that it will be used in the information domain and there are extremists and they can organize massacres against Armenians in the Arab world based on that information,”- he notes. If there was legitimate and national Government in Armenia, Kessab events could be used for national peace atmosphere creation and Syrian Armenians support,- says Stepan Danielyan. Serzh Sargsyan, according to him, does nothing for that, and what’s more, he does everything so that Armenians aren’t united, “Armenian Government doesn’t need unity in the state, as they are afraid that one day that unity can be turned against them.” That policy had its bad influence on Armenians who came from Syria, they return into their country and even are not against mixing with other nations: “They have seen unfair society, not effective state, indifference, as a result of which they got disappointed, and Armenian Government is responsible for that,”- reminds the speaker of “A1+”.
