Twitter Vice President due in Armenia

Vice President of Platform Engineering at Twitter, Raffi Krikorian, is due to arrive in Armenia on April 12. The visit is arranged at the invitation of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies. During his week-long visit, Krikorian will lead two computer programming workshops, give a public lecture, and meet representatives of the Armenian government and IT community. On April 14 and 16, he will lead an advanced programming workshop for university students and specialists of IT sector, familiarizing them with the Twitter API. On April 15 and 17, he will conduct an intermediate-level workshop on good coding practices for Tumo students. On April 18, Krikorian will give a public lecture on Software Development Management, sharing his experience gained during his work at Twitter. Krikorian and his teams manage the core infrastructure of Twitter, including its databases, server clusters, and software libraries.
