International pressure on Azerbaijan is increasing - MP (video) (video)

Judging by the international reactions as of today, the international pressure on Azerbaijan is increasing, - says Tatevik Hayrapetyan, the MP of "My Step" party of the National Assembly, adding that despite this, Baku declares that it will continue hostilities.

"It must be understood that what the Azerbaijani propaganda machine has been presenting for 11 days, non corresponding to reality, has created a hopeless situation for Ali."

Hayrapetyan says that the Azerbaijani parliament was discussing the issue of renaming Mataghis yesterday, while we  all see what is happening with the Azerbaijani forces in Mataghis.

"If they listen to the calls today and agree to a ceasefire, as well as take back their bodies, it could cause a huge panic in Azerbaijan, which would be fatal for Aliyev’s government".

The MP says that it is necessary to understand that we are dealing with a dictatorial country, where any expression of protest is severely punished, so, according to Hayrapetyan, in order for a big wave of protests to rise in Azerbaijan, the people must realize the wave of failures they are suffering these days.

"Aliyev deliberately does not go for a humanitarian ceasefire, knowing very well what awaits him after that."

Hayrapetyan says that the international response is very important for us, but the situation is carried out by the Armenian army. The MP noted an open message from Russia that Azerbaijan should end hostilities a day in advance, that "Azerbaijan's whims are not acceptable to anyone."
