Road in Vedi leading to Vedi High School to not be asphalted this year either (video)

Improving the road leading to Vedi High School has been one of the city's top issues for years.
Pits caused by rain in autumn and spring make it difficult for residents and cars to move normally.

"We have such a problem - it is not only the road leading to the high school, but also the road bypassing the city," Vedu mayor Varuzhan Barseghyan told "A1+."

Back in 2017, the municipality made a project-budget, according to which about 200 million drams are needed for the improvement of the road.

According to Varuzhan Barseghyan, it is not possible to solve the problem at the expense of the community.

"It is a big program, it is included in the five-year plan of the city for 2016-2021. We have repeatedly appealed to the government to find a solution to this problem," he said in a conversation with "A1+".

It is possible that this issue will be included in next year's road construction programs.

In other words, this year the road leading to the school will become as impassable in the fall as in previous years.
