We forecast to end the year with 7% export growth - Minister of Economy (video)

In the first 8 months of this year, the economic activity index in Armenia was 7%. Speaking to reporters, Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan said this, adding that if compared to the last five years, the index would be lower than in 2018, which was 7.7%.

"The volume of industrial production has grown by 9.5 percent, and the good news is that the manufacturing industry is growing faster," he said. According to him, the processing industry grew by 10.4 percent in 8 months. Services increased by 15.5 percent, construction 4.4 percent. Exports of goods increased by 4.6%.
