Grandmaster Karen Grigoryan's victorious start in Spain

GM Karen Grigoryan, who is representing Armenia at the international chess tournament in Albacete, Spain, started the competition with a victory.
In the first round, our chess player defeated 61-year-old Spanish Pedro Khinesi. In the second round, he will compete with FIDE master Antonio Santos from Porto.
Armenian chess player Aspet Tadevosyan, who is representing Spain, also started the tournament with a victory. He will meet with Belarusian grandmaster Nikita Mayorov today.
To note, 256 chess players from 16 countries are participating in the tournament, including 13 grandmasters. Karen Grigoryan is the seventh in the rating. The tournament will end on April 21.
