Calendar: April 16. Gagik Tsarukyan gives interview, Pashinyan says mafia
On April 16, 1999, editor of the "Oragir" newspaper Nikol Pashinyan stated that there is a mafia in Armenia headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs and National Security of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

In response to the journalist's question whether it is possible to do a revolution in Armenia with the Ukrainian scenario, Tsarukyan replied: "Our president is very strong and follows the pre-election struggle. If something happens, he will punish the guilty ones."
