LIVE: The rating of architects has fallen (video)
Hrachya Poghosyan, Honored Architect of Armenia, asked at the meeting with architects whether they are satisfied with the condition that the architect's rating has fallen and they have just been in the role of a scout. "There are thousands of architects, but only 20 are gathered here. Every year, our institute 'produces' 130 architect, I say produce because it's so, 30 urban builders and theoretician. But during these years, have you seen an engineer-theorist?" The architect added that when they organized this gathering, they believed architects would be interested and would come and exchange ideas on the shortcomings and advantages of today's architecture. However, the number of those gathered made it clear that the architectures do not want to talk.
