Surenyants excludes political implication
Political scientist Suren Surenyants says the charges filed against him were not politically motivated.
A criminal case was instituted against Surenyants in September 2012. He was accused of abusing the confidence of his acquaintance G. Ghasabyan and appropriating AMD 508.000.
"But for the mistake of the Arabkir police division, the case would not have entered the court and would have been solved in a peaceful way as Ghasabyan claimed that he did not see any element of a criminal act and had nothing against me," Surenyants said in conversation with A1+.
