According to preliminary reports, Russia's leading party United Russia (Yedinaya Rossiya) scored 49,6% votes in Sunday's parliamentary election. Communists were the second with 19,7% and the Just Russia was the third with 12,9 percent. The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia received 12,2 %. The other parties failed to overcome the 7- percent threshold.

Independent experts have already labeled the election as the dirtiest one in the last decade, citing the large-scale election fraud, ballot stuffing, carousel and restrictions of observers' rights.

Note that websites which revealed violations in Russia's legislative polls were targeted in a mass hacking attack. Among them are Echo of Moscow (Ekho Moskvy), The New Times and Kommersant which became victims of massive cyber attacks.
