Participating in EPP economic conference

RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan began his two-day working visit to Brussels. On the first day, the head of government attended the conference on "Ensuring the future of the Euro through deeper economic integration", which was held with the participation of President of the European People's Party Wilfred Martens, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, deputies of the European Parliament, economists and others.

The pivot of the discussions are the key issues related to defense of the common currency, closer political integration, structural reforms in Europe, the capitalization of banking, the current relationship between public debt and the stability of the common currency, the macroeconomic stability and other issues.

On the second day, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will participate in a working breakfast with several deputies of the European Parliament.

Today the Prime Minister will participate in the political assembly of the European People's Party. At the end, the Prime Minister will meet members of the European Friends of Armenia.

The delegation led by the Prime Minister includes Chief of Staff of the RA Government David Sargsyan, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Republican faction MP Artak Zakaryan and other officials, the Government's department of information and public relations reports.
