Speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Eduard Sharmazanov doesn't deny the rumors about possible dismissals, but advises journalists to not give sensational news about them.

"The government is like a living organism, and dismissals happen frequently in any country and government," Sharmazanov told "A1+" today.

Which spheres will the upcoming dismissals be in? In response, Sharmazanov said: "I never make predictions."

The Republican Party's speaker doesn't link the expected dismissals with the upcoming elections. "This is just a typical process. The government is taking the steps that it needs to take. Nobody holds an office forever. There are people who switch to other jobs and offices, just like journalists move from one press to the next."

Sharmazanov says there is nothing strange about the fact that the HHK has been holding more frequent sessions recently. "We convened a session yesterday so that the HHK would nominate its candidate, and our candidate Taron Margaryan was nominated by a unanimous vote."

As for the relations between the Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Eduard Sharmazanov says the HHK doesn't need to specify the relations. "The coalition stays true to the signed memorandum and is carrying out its activities under Serzh Sargsyan's leadership."

Touching upon the upcoming parliamentary elections, Sharmazanov said "the HHK has not discussed any issues such as the lists or the strategy for the upcoming elections".
