‘October 27’ perpetrators break Armenia’s spine
"The perpetrators of the October 27, 1999, parliamentary slaughter are breaking Armenia's spine, turning the country into invertebrate structure. On March 1, 2008, they opened fire at their co-citizens in downtown Yerevan, killing ten people," editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan announced when addressing the ANC ralliers at Liberty Square.
Pashinyan assured the presentees that the organizers of the October 27 carnage would not avoid Doomsday and would appear before the people's court.
Our victory is inevitable. Long live freedom! Long live the Republic of Armenia! Long live our children who will live in a free Armenia," said Pashinyan.
His speech was followed by loud cries, "Freedom!"
