Police at bus stops
It was impossible to get to the capital from the provinces today.
"A1+" wasn't able to spot any buses taking citizens from Yeghvard, Gyumri and Vanadzor to Yerevan.
There were no cars at bus stops and parking lots, but there were more and more citizens rushing to Yerevan by the minute. Police cars were parked a little far from the bus stops and police officers were approaching taxi drivers and giving some instructions. Police officers sat in their cars and drove off after seeing "A1+" cameras.
Citizens told "A1+" that they were standing at the bus stops for over an hour in vain. "I have been waiting for an hour and there is not even a taxi. They're doing this because of the rally, but how long can I wait?" said one woman.
A 70-year old man mentioned that he had taken his car to the mechanic and had to go to Yerevan to pick it up. "There are no cars and I have been waiting for nearly half an hour."
The police officers had many reasons for standing at the bus stops and one of them was that "they were carrying out the minister's decree N320A".
"There are many stolen cars in Yerevan and we are fighting against auto theft," said one of the police officers, adding that there has not been any instruction connected to buses.
