CoE Commissioner for Human Rights to visit Armenia
The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg will visit Armenia from January 18 to 21 to discuss human rights issues with the Armenian leadership.
The CoE official will have meetings with the Armenian President, the Foreign Minister, the Ministers of Justice and Defense, the Prosecutor General and the Chief of Police, as well as representatives of the ruling coalition and the opposition.
On the occasion of the visit, an exhibition dedicated to great humanist Andrei Sakharov will be organized at the Artists' Union of Armenia on January 19.
