After Serzh Sargsyan's latest speech, HAK (Armenian National Congress) central office coordinator Levon Zurabyan has come to the conclusion that, in any case, special presidential and parliamentary elections are possible in Armenia. According to him, Serzh Sargsyan's speech at the session dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Republican Party of Armenia showed that he has become one of the members of the Congress.

"It was more of a speech by an oppositionist in which he expressed willingness to join us in the fight against the bandit regime," said Zurabyan during today's press conference.

Levon Zurabyan viewed the latest dismissals and Serzh Sargsyan's claim that Armenia's number one issue is corruption as an "interesting development".

The HAK representative believes that these are desperate measures.

"The regime is entering a stage of collapse and is obligated to take desperate measures since it realizes that the crisis has deepened," says Zurabyan.

According to him, it is necessary to form a government that has the trust and support of the people and that can only be a legitimate government.

Levon Zurabyan also considered Serzh Sargsyan's claims for democratization and dialogue as false.

"If that was the case, the political prisoners would be released, those responsible for the events of March 1 would be brought to justice and "A1+" would be reopened," said Zurabyan.

On the threshold of the New Year, the HAK member conveyed good wishes to Serzh Sargsyan, wishing that he take out the people with nicknames from political parties and stop doing whatever Russia does.

"Let him be rest assured that we will pick up where he leaves off," said Zurabyan.
