ANC will not back down
During the opposition's rally of Sept. 17, proponents of the Armenian National Congress welcomed Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan with vociferations "Struggle till the end!"
Levon Ter-Petrosyan appeared on the platform escorted by Stepan Demirtchyan. Aram Manukyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and many others. The rally is chaired by Chairman of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukyan who addressed the rallies with the words "Honourable Citizens".
He congratulated the presentees on Armenian Independence Day and the 3rd anniversary of the movement.
The HHSh chairman underlined that the opposition is starting a new phase of struggle accompanied by rallies, marches and definite actions.
"The Armenian National Congress has never backed down and is not going to. We are going to liberate Liberty Square and the whole country," Mr. Manukyan announced.
