"Huntsman's words"
Armenian National Congress coordinator Levon Zurabyan would be pleased to comment Robert Kocharyan's response to Levon Ter-Petrosyan's remarks, if that response was political.
"But they were the words of a huntsman. Unfortunately, he did not move up from that level," Levon Zurabyan said during a press conference at the "Hayatsk" club.
Let us remind that yesterday Robert Kocharyan touched upon the First President's allegations against him.
"The allegations against me were so absurd that there is no sense in talking about the content of those allegations because there is no content at all," Kocharyan said and added:
"But every time Levon Ter-Petrosyan recalls me in his speeches reminds me of what I have seen recently in Africa. The hunters gathered near a bonfire in the evening were telling each other stories about incidents with African animals during their hunts. They were talking about the strength, flexibility of the lions and elephants and how dangerous it was. There was a European who let out a sigh after hearing every story and added that the bear was the strongest and most dangerous animal. When he said that the second time, I asked him why he was so impressed by the bear and it turned out that the bear had hurt him during a hunt five years ago. Perhaps I inspire Levon Ter-Petrosyan in a way and that is why he remembers me that much," Robert Kocharyan said.
In his November 11 speech, Levon Ter-Petrosyan said that the wrong steps that the ARF is ascribing to Serzh Sargsyan [refusal of territorial claims from Turkey, consent to the proposal for creation of a historical commission on the Armenian Genocide and the dislocation of Karabakh from the Armenian-Azerbaijan negotiations) were taken during Robert Kocharyan's term.
