Support A1+!The RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Armen Bayburdyan received the members of Delegation of the Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group of Germany Bundestag headed by Steffen Reiche.
Armen Bayburdyan welcomed the guests and underlined the importance of the visit of the Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group, pointing out that Armenia-Germany relations were on high level and had broad perspectives to develop in future.
Steffen Reiche introduced the aim of their visit and said that the South Caucasus had a particular importance for Germany and Germany was interested in the development of Germany-South Caucasus relations. He also informed that the number of Delegation of the Germany-South Caucasus Friendship Group had reached to 24.
Bayburdyan mentioned that the adoption of the European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan and its successful implementation was of primary importance for the Armenian Government. Mr Reiche was pleased to note that Armenia was the first in implementing the European Neighborhood Policy productively in the region.
The parties reflected on the cooperation problems in the region. They also mentioned that the European Neighborhood Policy was a good field not only for establishing confidence atmosphere, but also for establishing system of united values of the countries in the region.
Mr Bayburdyan also introduced the current state of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement process, and reflected on Armenian-Turkey relations.
