MINISTER OSKANIAN TO ADDRESS UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

On the first day of meetings in New York, RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met with his counterparts of Turkey and Iran.

In his first meeting with the newly-appointed Foreign Minister of Turkey, Ali Babacan, Minister Oskanian discussed the present state of affairs between Armenia and Turkey, as well as regional matters of common concern.

Minister Oskanian and Minister Manuchehr Mottaki discussed Armenia-Iran relations, energy issues as well as regional concerns.

Minister Oskanian is in New York for the UN 62d General Assembly Session. He will address the Assembly on Wednesday October 3.
