Newly appointed Czech Republic ambassador to Armenia Joseph Vrabetz /residence in Tbilisi/ handed Thursday credentials to Armenian president Robert Kocharyan.

Kocharyan underscored the necessity to spur Armenian-Czech relationship development.

The Czech ambassador said for past few years his country has focused all efforts to join European Union. That’s why no progress has been seen in its relations with South Caucasus countries.

The sides that ties between the two countries, especially in economic area, would become closer.
