COUNCIL OF EUROPE COLLOQUY IN TURKEY BRINGS TOGETHER CULTURE MINISTERS FROM ARMENIA, AZERBAIJAN, GEO

"Cultural policies in transition: dialogue and new partnerships" will be the main topic of the third Ministerial Colloquy of the Council of Europe's STAGE project (Support for Transition in the Arts and Culture in Greater Europe) that will be held in Antalya (Hotel Talya) rom 18 to 20 September, at the invitation of Turkish authorities.

In addition to Ministers of Culture from the three South-Caucasus countries and Turkey, Ministers and high-ranking representatives of observer countries of the project, Austria, Germany, Greece, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine, will also participate in the Colloquy, which will be open to the press.

The meeting will offer participants the opportunity to evaluate the project and to reflect on possible future activities, such as cultural policies and co-operation for cities, possibly with an approach focused also on concrete aspects such as cultural tourism, culture as a creativity tool for industries etc. A final declaration will be adopted at the end of the Colloquy.
