Airbus helicopters to appear in Ministry of Emergency Situations
On September 27, Minister of Emergency Situations Hrachya Rostomyan had a meeting with the representatives of Airbus helicopters, a member of the world-famous Airbus company. The company is engaged in production and sale of helicopters, as well as their current maintenance. During the meeting with the Minister of Emergency Situations, the representatives of the company presented their helicopters. Taking into consideration the peculiarities of Armenia, Minister Rostomyan was interested in helicopters' work during the heavy winds in mountainous regions, under low temperatures, as well as possibilities of landing in urban conditions. Representatives of the Airbus helicopters company presented in detail the working capabilities and technical characteristics of their helicopters. Due to their small size, helicopters have the opportunity to land in smaller free areas, work in high mountain belts, low temperatures and strong winds. The technical capabilities of helicopters allow for a very short time without a substantial loss of time and to reach the scene, which is essential for emergency response. Hrachya Rostomyan instructed Airbus helicopters to continue discussions on technical capabilities of helicopters, as well as their expediency and conditions.
