After Gyumri, Vanadzor and Kapan, the presentation of the book about  an American-Armenian businessman, billionaire, philanthropist, executive director of Transindia Corporation, the Armenian national hero Kirk Kerkorian was held in Yerevan. It took place at Kirk Kerkorian Hall in Elite Plaza Business Center. The book, which was published in the United States and has already become a bestseller, was published in Armenian through Edit Print publishing house. At the beginning of the book presentation in Yerevan, Mkrtich Karapetyan, the founder of the publishing house, emphasized that, besides Armenian provinces, a few days ago the book was presented at the 31st Moscow International Book Fair, which was warmly welcomed by the Armenians of Russia. "One can speak about Kerkorian endlessly, by telling how much pro-Armenian work he has done. I must point out that Edit Print has the right to publish the book in Russian as well and by the end of the year the Russian version of Gumbler will be published," said Mkrtich Karapetyan during the presentation. The author of the book is American investigative journalist William Ch. Rebel, translators are Alina and Anna Mirzoyan. Alina Mirzoyan is sure that the book, entitled Gumbler has a great value and should be presented to the Armenian reader. "Reading this book, the reader will make new discoveries. After all, we all know that Kerkorian was a very indifferent person. I think it will be very interesting to read this book," said the translator during the presentation. Anna Mirzoyan stated that the book would interest a wide circle of readers, adding that Kerkorian was known not only in Armenia and the United States, but beyond the borders of those countries. During the event, the video of the author of the book was shown. According to the author, one of the most striking findings about Kerkorian was his generosity, and certainly, Armenia knows about the generosity of Kirk Kerkorian very well. During his career, Kirk's benevolence was done anonymously. For example, he would not give anyone money unless the latter disagreed to keep the source secret, and as Kerkorian stated, "Charity, which is done by anticipating something else, is not charity." To note, the book, entitled The Gambler: How Penniless Dropout Kirk Kerkorian Became the Greatest Deal Maker in Capitalist History was published on January 23, 2018. The Armenian version of the book is already available for an Armenian reader.
