Ombudsman's extraordinary report on issues recorded in "Abovyan" Penitentiary
The human rights defender published an extraordinary report "On ensuring the rights of women and minors deprived of their liberty in the penal system". As a result of the discussion of complaints addressed to the Ombudsman, as well as unrecorded monitoring visits, violations were recorded. The issues that took place in the report are mainly related to the medical examination of women and minors, psychological work, conditions of detention, as well as to the attitude towards them.
