GM Sergey Movsesyan takes second place

Armenian chess player Sergey Movsesyan took the second place at the Open Championship of the Czech Republic, in Pardubice. Our grandmaster had 6 victories, two games ended in a draw, suffered one defeat and shared 2-6 places with 7 points. By additional coefficients, Sergey Movsisyan was proclaimed the vice-champion of the championship. The winner of the tournament was the 23-year-old Ukrainian grandmaster Vitaly Bernadsky, who had 7 victories and earned 7,5 points. Participating in the tournament, Armenian chess player David Parvanyan, representing Russia, took 15th place with 6 points.
