"We are the owner of our mine," Lydian-Armenia employees in Yerevan (video)
Employees of the Lydian-Armenia mining company in Jermuk gathered in front of the government building to hold a protest action in their uniform. They complain that the population of Jermuk and a group of environmentalists are obstructing their work by closing the road leading to the workplace for 10 days. "Stop sabbatage," "We are the master of our mine," they demand with these calls to respect their right to work. Narek Sargsyan, an advisor to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, approached them, heard their demand and promised to present the Prime Minister. After the protest action, Lydian-Armenia employees again marched to their office where they will have a short discussion.
